WE'RE FOOLS WITHOUT EASTER!

Paul argues in the Bible that believers are the biggest fools on the planet if the resurrection was fiction!  Why? well, as powerful as it is that Jesus laid His life down to become the subject of a brutal sacrifice for us, its all worthless...unless!  Unless, he comes out on the other side more alive than ever.  Unless he, after dying physically and (on even a more REAL level) spiritually by the power of sin, raises from the dead defeating the sin that temporarily defeated Him.  

Jesus' sacrifice and then coming back alive changes our life.  We can not only know Him but now be helped to live for Him by the same power of God's Spirit that made Jesus come alive.  Its the ability to be new - not defined by what we wrestle with.  Its the strength to serve and show the love we know.  Its the truth that allows us to defeat the sin in our lives that has temporarily defeated us.

Romans 6:8,9

If we get included in Christ’s sin-conquering death, we also get included in his life-saving resurrection. We know that when Jesus was raised from the dead it was a signal of the end of death-as-the-end. Never again will death have the last word.
