THE BEST QUESTION EVER

A lot has happened since I last posted.  Since then life has gotten quite difficult complete with some very tough decisions.  more details will follow but at this point i just want to share a lesson i am being forced to learn when life is difficult.  The lesson is actually the ability to honestly ask and answer a very leading question.  The question is this...and you can thank Andy Stanley for this...ready?!   Here it is..."What is the wise thing to do?"

Pretty simply. right?  Maybe. But easy? Hardly.  recently i have made a tough decision for my family.  certain parts of the desicions make me sacrifice more than i am comfortable and some just plain dont make sense.  BUT...it is the wise thing to do for my family.  Sometimes just knowing my prioritities helps me figure out what's wise.  For example, my priorities go as follows: 1. me (my relationship with God) 2. my wife (becoming who and what she is passionate about) 3. my kids (within my power protecting or exposing them to what is necessary) and finally 4. my job (career and calling)  These four can get hazy often and it really clears things up for me to know where each falls!

John: i agree. its a small, very simple question but if we choose to ask it...and mean it, it packs a large punch. thanks.
