Happy New Year! Its about that time of the year again; when we write/type the wrong year on everything for about a month, tell our friends the old and cheesy joke, "Well, i guess i wont see you until...next year," and of course, create rediculously obvious catch phrases that rhyme with the year. But besides knowing i will get at least one kiss that day, my favorite part of New Years is that in a lot of ways we get to start all over.
But are we really starting over? I mean, what is so special about the fact that 365.25 days have passed that we celebrate it in part by adopting a mindset of "all-things-new" "fix the past" "find a mate in 08", etc.?! What really will be that different?
